Ataur; Kim, BongleeReactive oxygen species (ROS) induce carcinogenesis by causing genetic mutations, activating oncogenes, and increasing oxidative stress, all of which affect cell proliferation, survival, and apoptosis. When compared to normal cells, cancer cells have higher levels of ROS, and they are responsible for the maintenance of the cancer phenotype; this unique feature in cancer cells may, therefore, be exploited for targeted therapy. Quercetin (QC), a plant-derived bioflavonoid, is known for its ROS scavenging properties and was recently discovered to have various antitumor properties in a variety of solid tumors. Adaptive stress responses may be induced by persistent ROS stress, allowing cancer cells to survive with high levels of ROS while maintaining cellular viability. However, large amounts of ROS make cancer cells extremely susceptible to quercetin, one of the most available dietary flavonoids. Because of the molecular and metabolic distinctions between malignant and normal cells, targeting ROS metabolism might help overcome medication resistance and achieve therapeutic selectivity while having little or no effect on normal cells. The powerful bioactivity and modulatory role of quercetin has prompted extensive research into the chemical, which has identified a number of pathways that potentially work together to prevent cancer, alongside, QC has a great number of evidences to use as a therapeutic agent in cancer stem cells. This current study has broadly demonstrated the function-mechanistic relationship of quercetin and how it regulates ROS generation to kill cancer and cancer stem cells. Here, we have revealed the regulation and production of ROS in normal cells and cancer cells with a certain signaling mechanism. We demonstrated the specific molecular mechanisms of quercetin including MAPK/ERK1/2, p53, JAK/STAT and TRAIL, AMPKα1/ASK1/p38, RAGE/PI3K/AKT/mTOR axis, HMGB1 and NF-κB, Nrf2-induced signaling pathways and certain cell cycle arrest in cancer cell death, and how they regulate the specific cancer signaling pathways as long-searched cancer therapeutics. As a synchronous or metachronous tumor, vaginal cancer is frequently found in combination with cervical cancer. It is uncertain what causes invasive female vaginal organ cancer. HPV type 16 is the most often isolated HPV type in female vaginal organ cancers. Due to cancer’s rarity, case studies have provided the majority of etiologic findings. Many findings demonstrate that ring pessaries, chronic vaginitis, sexual behavior, birth trauma, obesity, vaginal chemical exposure, and viruses are all risk factors. Because of insufficient understanding and disease findings, we are trying to find the disease’s mechanism with the available data. Nazmul; Azad, Prof. Dr. Md. Abul KalamThis thesis studies the nature of a sectionally pesudocomplemented lattice and Boolean Algebra. Lattice theory is a part of Mathematics. Boolean algebra and Boolean function is an important of lattice theory. A nonempty set P together with a binary relation R is said to form a partially order set or a poset if the following conditiois hold: (i) Reflexivity (ii) Anti-symmetry (iii) Transitivity. A poset (L, ≤) is said to form a lattice if for every a, b ε L if a˅b and a ˄ b exist in L. A lattice is said to be complemented lattice if every element has a complement. Let L be a bounded distributive lattice, let a ε L an element a* ε L is called a pseudocomplement of a in L if the following conditions holds: (i) a ˄ a* = 0 (ii) ∀ x ε L, a ˄ x =0 implies that x ≤ a* . A complement distributive lattice is called a Boolean lattice. Since complements are unique in a Boolean lattice as an algebra with two binary operations A and v and one unary operation '.Boolean lattices so considered are called Boolean algebra. Moreover we can discuss on relatively pseudocomplemented Lattices. In this thesis, we have given several results on seetionnally (relatively) pseudocomplemented lattices which certainly extended and generalized many results in lattice theory. In chapter one is to outline and fix the notation for some of the concepts of lattices which are basic to this thesis. Some more definitions and formulate results on a orbitrary lattices for later use. We have considered this section as the base and background for the study of subsequent sections. For the background material in Lattice theory we have refered the readers to the of G. Birkoff [14] G. Gratzer [15] and V.K. Khanna [24] and several authors. In chapter two, we have given a description of difference classes of lattices. We have also studied normal lattices and distributive quasi-complemented lattices. Generalized stone lattices have been studied by H. Lakser [16,17], K.B Lee [20] and many other authors. We have given a characterization of minimal prime ideals of a sectionally pseudocomplemented lattices. Then we have shown that a distributive Lattice L with 0 is generalized stone if and only if it is both normal and sectionally quasi-complemented. In chapter three introduces the concept of relative annihilators in lattices. Relative annihilators in lattices were studied by several authors including Mandelker [21] and Verlet [22]. B.A. Davey [1] has used the annihiiators in studying relatively normal lattices. Here we have studied the relative annihilators in lattices. In terms of relative annihilators, we have characterized modular and distributive lattices. Relatively stone lattices have been studied by several authors including Mandelker [26], T.P. Speed [23] Gratzer and Schmidt [15]. Here we use given several characterizations of relatively stone lattices, which are certainly the generalization of above authors work. We have also shown for a distributive lattice L in which every closed interval in pseudocomplemented is relatively stone if and only if any two incomparable prime ideals of L are comaximal. In chapter four, we have studied lattices with the greatest element 1 where on each interval [a,1] an antitone bijection is defined. We have characterized these lattices by means of two induced binary operations proving that the resulting algebras form a variety. The congruence properties of this variety and the properties of the underlying lattices are investigated. We have shown that this variety contains a single minimal subquasi variety join-lattices, whose principal filters are Boolean lattices, were used by J.C. Abbott [13]. We have introduced a further generalization of this concept, defining the notion of a lattice with sectionally antitone bijection. We have also introduced Residuated Lattices studied by Ward and Diworth [26] and several authors. Two mono graph contain a compendium on residuated lattices. They are that by Blyth and Janowitz [2]. In this paper we will compare a certain modification of a residuated Lattice. In chapter five, It is shown that every directoid equipped with sectionally switching mappings can be represented as a certain implication algebra. The concept of directoid was introduced by J. Jezek and R. Quackenbush [19] in the sake to axiomatize algebraic structures defined by on upward directed ordered set. In certain sense, directoids generalize semilattices. In chapter six. We have studied switching Mapping introduced by Chajda and Emanovsky [3]. The spread of an infectious disease involves not only disease factors such as an infectious agent, mode of transmission, latent period, infection period. It is to be noted that we pay attention to people who are born or die because of any reason except for the disease. Rajaul; Hasan, Md. NazmulThe Arduino-based 2D CNC plotting machine is a compact and versatile tool designed for enthusiasts, students, and makers interested in exploring digital fabrication. The X, Y, and Z axes of motion determine the limited region that the Arduino plotter machine operates on, based on the theory of computer numerical control. This project's goals are to design the plotter and create open-source software to operate the apparatus. Essentially, this plotter machine's system is modeled by Solid Work software to operate with three-axis stepper motors (represented as X, Y, and Z axes). The movement of these three axes stepper motors is shielded. The machine can produce complex designs with great accuracy thanksto its configuration, which enables accurate movement along three dimensions. A pen holder or similar tool attachment is mounted on the gantry, enabling it to draw or plot on a wide range of materials, including paper and thin wood. Technically speaking, a plottable machine mirrors the functionality of a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine. Specifically, it resembles a CNC router, albeit with a writing implement in place of a cutting tool. Interestingly, this concept is built around an open-source project that was started by BCN3D Technologies, so enthusiasts can easily replicate it. This project demonstrates the development of an affordable CNC plotter machine capable of writing or drawing art on paper or small wood through a simple algorithm and readily available components. The functionality of the CNC plotting machine is governed by an Arduino microcontroller, which serves as the brain of the system. The Arduino interprets G-code commands, a standard programming language for CNC machines, and translates them into motor control signals. This enables seamless coordination between the stepper motors and the movement of the gantry, ensuring smooth and precise plotting of designs. Software plays a critical role in the operation of the CNC plotting machine. Users have the flexibility to generate or import vector graphics files, which are then converted into G-code instructions using software tools. These G-code instructions dictate the movement of the gantry and control parameters such as speed and pen pressure, allowing users to achieve their desired drawing outcomes with ease. The Arduino-based 2D CNC plotting machine offers numerous advantages over traditional methods of drawing and plotting. Its compact size and affordability make it accessible to a wide range of users, from hobbyists to students to professionals. Nazmul; Sultana, Sharmin; Rabbani, Golam Shams; Uddin, Dr. JiaDental biometrics is a very important feature in human identification. It can help greatly in Forensic Dentistry. In this paper, we present a method for identifying people based on shapes and appearances of their teeth using Edge detection, pixel value counting and feature extraction. This method automatically detects important features to identify a person. Wiener filter is used to reduce noise and provide a smooth image. For edge detection, we have used Canny Edge Detection algorithm where preprocessed filtered grey scale image's edge has been defined through Gaussian filtering and Edge thresholding. From the given edge detected image canny method determines the region of shape which represents binary pixel value. This pixel value can be used in image identification. Furthermore, the SURF algorithm used to define interest points. Given a query image (i.e., Postmortem radiograph), each tooth is matched with the archived teeth in the database (Antemortem radiographs). Our goal of using appearance and shape-based features together is to overcome the drawback of using only the contour of the tooth, which can be strongly affected by the quality of the images. The experimental results are based on a database of 20 panoramic x ray images show that our method is effective in identifying individuals based on their dental radiographs.Item MANAGEMENT OF HOME LOAN PROGRAMS IN THE DHAKA CITY AND ITS EFFECTIVENESS- CUSTOMERS’ PERCEPTION(©University of Dhaka, 2023-12-10) Hasan, Md. NazmulAlong with the changes in the economy, there were changes in the country's demographic features. Backwardness in housing has almost always been the leading cause of social dissatisfaction and civil disturbances. The financial institution wanted to offer home loans, and loan seekers needed loans. But matching the demand and supply has not been possible in many cases due to problems inherent in the system. The increasing urban population trend positively impacts the rising demand for housing in urban areas, particularly in large cities. There has always been an absolute deviation between housing demand and current housing stock, which might negatively affect per capita floor space. A review of five-year plans indicates that policymakers were aware of the problems, but an appropriate mechanism to monitor the achievements and failures could not be developed during the last five decades. The main factors influencing the demand of housing accommodation included family size, employment status, household income, house rent, the price of apartments, availability of credit, terms of credit, consumer preferences and ease of purchasing apartments. There was an inverse relationship between demand of apartment accommodation and the price of apartments. The main objective of the study was to assess the management and effectiveness of home loan programs in the Dhaka city. The sources of data used in the study included both secondary and primary data. The secondary sources of data included published materials in the area of housing finance. Primary data were collected through a sample survey. The sources of primary data included Banking and Non-banking Financial Institutions and actual customers of home loans. The study was limited to the Dhaka city area. The top management evaluates the performance on the basis of target fulfillment. Besides. some quantitative measures used in evaluating the achievement status includes home loan sanctioned, cumulative loan sanctioned, loan disbursed, recoverable loan, loan recovery, default loan, unclassified loan, classified loan, the responsiveness of the institution to the total demand of house loans, and the status of overdue of home loan. Most of the indicators were found favorable in the private sector financial institutions, but the growth rate of the home loan overdue has however, been higher in the private sector than that of the public sector. This situation leads one to suggest that private sector requires to be more careful about the loan management process. In enhancing the supply of housing apartments Government intervention might help ease the situation., Government may take measures to provide serviced land at reasonable prices, helping create and promote housing financing institutions, increasing affordability for the disadvantaged groups through providing credit, improving the existing housing stock alongside new housing; and as well as ensuring the conservation of the natural environment. In order to overcome the problems of malpractices adopted by brokers, measures may taken to develop a code of conduct as well as professionalism. In this regard, a law may enacted to set up a regulatory body for implementing licensing system. Other advantages of a PV system are reliable power, free source of power, flexibility and quick installation. For socio-economic development a reliable, affordable and secure supply of energy is significant. The following research paper is based on analyzing the solar irradiation pattern of Bangladesh for electricity generation. Irradiation and power are discussed with their optimum capacity. Power is one of the most important factors in developing country and for sustainable economy. Like the rest of the countries of the planet, in Bangladesh the demand for power is increasing day by day. Bin; Nafidi, Hiba-Allah; Bourhia, MohammedBreast and lung cancer are two of the most lethal forms of cancer, responsible for a disproportionately high number of deaths worldwide. Both doctors and cancer patients express alarm about the rising incidence of the disease globally. Although targeted treatment has achieved enormous advancements, it is not without its drawbacks. Numerous medicines and chemotherapeutic drugs have been authorized by the FDA; nevertheless, they can be quite costly and often fall short of completely curing the condition. Therefore, this investigation has been conducted to identify a potential medication against breast and lung cancer through structural modification of genistein. Genistein is the active compound in Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice), and it exhibits solid anticancer efficiency against various cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, and brain cancer. Hence, the design of its analogs with the interchange of five functional groups—COOH, NH2 and OCH3, Benzene, and NH-CH2-CH2-OH—have been employed to enhance affinities compared to primary genistein. Additionally, advanced computational studies such as PASS prediction, molecular docking, ADMET, and molecular dynamics simulation were conducted. Firstly, the PASS prediction spectrum was analyzed, revealing that the designed genistein analogs exhibit improved antineoplastic activity. In the prediction data, breast and lung cancer were selected as primary targets. Subsequently, other computational investigations were gradually conducted. The mentioned compounds have shown acceptable results for in silico ADME, AMES toxicity, and hepatotoxicity estimations, which are fundamental for their oral medication. It is noteworthy that the initial binding affinity was only −8.7 kcal/mol against the breast cancer targeted protein (PDB ID: 3HB5). However, after the modification of the functional group, when calculating the binding affinities, it becomes apparent that the binding affinities increase gradually, reaching a maximum of −11.0 and −10.0 kcal/mol. Similarly, the initial binding affinity was only −8.0 kcal/mol against lung cancer (PDB ID: 2P85), but after the addition of binding affinity, it reached −9.5 kcal/mol. Finally, a molecular dynamics simulation was conducted to study the molecular models over 100 ns and examine the stability of the docked complexes. The results indicate that the selected complexes remain highly stable throughout the 100-ns molecular dynamics simulation runs, displaying strong correlations with the binding of targeted ligands within the active site of the selected protein. Based on students' various reviews to campus changes, a sentiment dataset was created. Sentiment of the students are categorized into three types e.g., positive, neutral and negative. Different sentiment preprocessing techniques have been used to preprocess those collected dataset. By the help of this dataset, a machine learning based Random Forest model is generated to analyze the sentiment of the students. In consequence, this model can predict any sentiment of a particular student whether it is positive, negative or neutral. Eventually the accuracy of this sentiment analysis of the students using Random Forest algorithm for shifting the campus to Ashulia from Dhanmondi is 83.36%. Thus, this model can predict a particular student’s sentiment with very good accuracy by which authority can take necessary steps to improve the sector where student’s review was negative.Item Sentiment Analysis of Bangla Text Using Deep Learning(Daffodil International University, 2021-01-28) Shaleh, Md. For the lack of standard datasets, the research works for Bangla has been shorten in pursuance of other languages. To recognize the sentiment from Bangla texts is the main target of this research work. In this research work, we have tried to build such a system, which will recognize the sentiments from Bangla texts. It is very challenging to work on such a language which does not have enough standard data. In the end, we have successfully got the sentiments from the Bangla texts. The datasets were collected from social medias and Bangla blogs. Data were collected and trained the data to the system. Lastly, the system shows the expected result which presented into the research. Working with Bangla text is a quite challenging job, there are not enough resources or data sets available in Bangla. Collecting data was a huge challenge for us. This report focuses on studying two popular protocols for wireless networks: Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Optimized Link-State Routing (OLSR). The two protocols belong to different classes of routing categorization. AODV is a popular on-demand (reactive) routing protocol whereas the OLSR is a popular link-state based proactive routing protocol. The technical aspects of the two protocols shall be studied while highlighting the differences between the two and simulation based performance comparison of the two protocols shall be carried out under varying traffic and network conditions using the Network SimulatorItem Study on Comparison of Production Performance and Economics of Different Carp Polyculture Systems in Gangni Upazila of Meherpur District(Department of Aquatic Resource Management, 2015-12) Hasan, Md. NazmulThe study was conducted to evaluate the comparison of production performance and economics of different carp polyculture system in Gangni upazila under Meherpur district from July to November 2015. PRA tools such as questionnaire based interview, cross check interview were used as primary data and also secondary information were used to assess the performances in aquaculture activities. Forty pond fish farmers were purposively selected, among which 7 (18.0%), 17 (42.0%), 3 (8.0%), 7 (18.0%) and 6 (15.0%) farmers were engaged with carp-mola, carp-tilapia, carp-koi, carp-shing polyculture and carp fattening, respectively. The highest age were 32.0% and between 41 to 50 years and lowest 7.0% were 15-20 years. Majority of the farmers (97%) were Muslims. Only 28.0% fish farmer took the aquaculture as their primary occupation. On the other hand, 57.0% farmers were involved in agriculture, 8% business, 3.0% service holder and 5.0% were students. About 67.0% of fish farmers lived in nuclear families and only 33.0% lived in joint family. Majority (35%) of the respondents had semi -paka house, 32.0% had paka, 28.0% had tin-shed house and only 5.0% had kacha house. About 5.0% had no education (illiterate), 18.0% can only sign, 33.0% had primary level, 22.0% had S.S.C. level, 18.0% had H.S.C. level and 5.0% had bachelor level of education. Most of them (33.0%) had agricultural land 51-100 decimal. While 20.0% had 151-200 decimal, 17.0% had 101-150 decimal, 17.0% had 1-50 decimal, 13.0% had up to 200 decimal and no farmer found without agricultural land. Only 23% were Small ponds (5-15 decimal), about 35% were medium pond (16-25 decimal) and 40% farmers had large pond up to 25 decimal. About 65.0%, 23.0% and 12.0% farmers were having single, multiple and taken lease from others, respectively. Fish farming was the primary income source for 60% and secondary for 40% farm owners. The minimum water depths of 23% ponds were within 0.5-1.0 m, 53% ponds were within 1.00-1.5 m, 17% ponds were within 1.62.0 m and 7% ponds were up to 2.0 m respectively. Most of the farmers used fertilizer in their fish ponds during pond preparation. Used lime at a dose of 1 kg/decimal, Urea 200g/decimal and TSP 100g/decimal. From the survey it was found that 14 (35.0)% of the farmers applied supplementary/homemade feed prepared with ricebran and mustard oil cake, 17 (43.0%) farmers used commercial feed and 9(22.0%) farmers were depended on natural feed. Average fish production of the farmers was 6274 kg/ha/yr. The highest average fish production was 7904 kg/ha/yr which net income was BDT 2,42,060 ha/yr come from carp-tilapia polyculture system and lowest average fish production was 5187 kg/ha/yr and net income was BDT 1,66,478 came from carp - koi polyculture system. Annual income of fish farmer were varied from 61,000 to 150,000 form ha/yr BDT. It was observed that the highest 48.0% fish farmers earned BDT 120,000-150,000 per year, which was higher than the national average income BDT 99,864. From the present study it was found that out of five culture systems. The average production of carp tilapia polyculture was higher and financial benefit came from the same technology So it reveals that carp tilapia polyculture was better than other polyculture system.Item The Experimental Significance of Isorhamnetin as an Effective Therapeutic Option for Cancer: A Comprehensive Analysis(IEEE, 2024-06-10) Biswas, Partha; Kaium, Md. Ariful Islam; Ahmed, Nasim; Sohel, Md.; Al Azad, Salauddin; Alhadrami, Albaraa H.; Kamel, Mohamed; Alamoudi, Mariam K.; Hasan, Md. Nazmul; Abdel-Daim, Mohamed M.Isorhamnetin (C16H12O7), a 3'-O-methylated derivative of quercetin from the class of flavonoids, is predominantly present in the leaves and fruits of several plants, many of which have traditionally been employed as remedies due to its diverse therapeutic activities. The objective of this in-depth analysis is to concentrate on Isorhamnetin by addressing its molecular insights as an effective anticancer compound and its synergistic activity with other anticancer drugs. The main contributors to Isorhamnetin's anti-malignant activities at the molecular level have been identified as alterations of a variety of signal transduction processes and transcriptional agents. These include ROS-mediated cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, inhibition of mTOR and P13K pathway, suppression of MEK1, PI3K, NF-κB, and Akt/ERK pathways, and inhibition of Hypoxia Inducible Factor (HIF)-1α expression. A significant number of in vitro and in vivo research studies have confirmed that it destroys cancerous cells by arresting cell cycle at the G2/M phase and S-phase, down-regulating COX-2 protein expression, PI3K, Akt, mTOR, MEK1, ERKs, and PI3K signaling pathways, and up-regulating apoptosis-induced genes (Casp3, Casp9, and Apaf1), Bax, Caspase-3, P53 gene expression and mitochondrial-dependent apoptosis pathway. Its ability to suppress malignant cells, evidence of synergistic effects, and design of drugs based on nanomedicine are also well supported to treat cancer patients effectively. Together, our findings establish a crucial foundation for understanding Isorhamnetin's underlying anti-cancer mechanism in cancer cells and reinforce the case for the requirement to assess more exact molecular signaling pathways relating to specific cancer and in vivo anti-cancer activities.
