Item A Method for Object Detection to Help Blind People Using Machine Learning(Daffodil International University, 2021-01-28) Hasan, Md. Mahamudul; Ahmmed, Faysal; Haque, Md. HasanulThe proposed project is made for blind people for detecting object in outdoor and indoor both. There are huge numbers of blind people on the world. According to World Health Organization (WHO) there are about 285 million visually impaired people in the world, In these people around 39 million are blind. 82% people are blind whose age are 50 years and older [1]. It changed the visual world to the visually impaired people groups and give the data about the object around them just as the area of those objects can distinguish any items from picture, video or live stream. The blind people are facing many difficulties daily for not detecting object. Our project will help them to improve their daily life. It can detect the objects that we face in our daily life.Item Determination of P Protein of Nipah Virus and Its Ligands as a Potential New Anti-Nipah Viral Drug(Daffodil International University, 22-11-21) Hasan, Md. MahamudulThe primary objective of this study was to discover the major (P) protein of the Nipah virus's full-length 3D structure. This was done in preparation for a De Novo drug design that would provide potential Nipah virus inhibitor ligands. The Nipah virus' full structure was not included in the RCSB-PDB, thus homology modeling was used in conjunction with the Uni Prot KB sequence. The search for templates with the greatest sequence similarity and coverage was aided by BLAST. The whole sequence of the large (P) protein of the Nipah virus was entered into the i-TASSER server after loops and functional domains were joined by ab-initio modeling, which further predicted five models. The Ramachandran analysis was useful in validating such models. Using UCSF-Chimera software, the linking of the loops with the functional domains from the i-TASSER model was removed. With the use of a custom tool created in-house, these loops and pieces were connected. After the Swiss Pdb viewer server has completed its energy minimization, the CASTp server has delivered the identification of ligand binding pockets. Following the identification of the pockets, the e-LEA3D server assisted in creating the ligand molecules that would bind to those pockets. To facilitate the development of potential Nipah virus inhibitor medications in the future, the pharmacokinetic characteristics of each of those ligands were further evaluated on the Mobyle@RPBS website.Item EFFECT OF COWDUNG AND INORGANIC FERTILIZERS ON THE GROWTH AND YIELD OF MUNGBEAN (BARI mung-6)(DEPARTMENT OF SOIL SCIENCE, 2021) Hasan, Md. MahamudulAn experiment was conducted at the experimental field of the farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University during the period from March to june (kharif season) of 2020 to study the effect of cowdung and inorganic fertilizers on growth and yield of mungbean (BARI Mung 6). The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The 7 treatment combinations of cowdung manure and inorganic fertilizer were T 0 viii - Control, T 1 - 100% Recommended fertilizer dose (RFD), T 2 - 6 ton cowdung ha -1 , T 3 - 80% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer and 20% cowdung ha -1 T 4 - 60% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer and 40% cowdung ha -1 T 5 - 40% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer and 60% cowdung ha -1 , T 6 - 20% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer and 80% cowdung ha 1 -1 . At 30 DAS and at harvest highest plant height (48.22cm), number of leaves plant and branches plant -1 were found from the combination of 80% cowdung manure and 20% inorganic fertilizer (N, P, K). Maximum numbers of pods plant (19.25), seeds pod -1 (10.42) and 1000-seed weight (43.44g), seed yield (1.42 t ha -1 ) were recorded in 20% cowdung manure and 80% inorganic fertilizer. Highest pod plant (19.25), 1000seed weight (43.44g) and seed yield ha -1 (1.42 t ha -1 ) was recorded in 20% cowdung + 80% of optimum dose of inorganic fertilizer and it was statistically disimilar with the treatment of 40% cowdung manure + 60% of optimum dose of inorganic fertilizer. It was observed that, for the above parameters; 80% optimum dose of inorganic fertilizer + 20% of optimum dose of Cowdung showed better results than sole 100% inorganic fertilizer. Lowest values for all of the growth and yield parameters obtained from the treatment using control.Item Elements of Human Resource Management(Daffodil International University, 2020-01-01) Hasan, Md. Mahamudul; Hosain, Shahadat; Poddar, Pinku; Chowdhury, ABM Alauddin; Katengeza, Estiner W.; Roy, Uttam KumarActivities in the Bangladeshi leather industries have the potential to cause chemical pollutions thereby deteriorating the working environments, the surrounding residential areas, or even foodstuffs. Therefore, it is important to determine the chemical exposures among the industry workers and residents of the surrounding areas who may be directly or indirectly impacted by the contaminated environment. This study focused on evaluating the hazard arising from exposure to metals due to industrial contamination. Tissue samples of hair and nails were collected from both the leather industry workers and residents in the vicinity of the industries. Using chromium as an indicator of contamination/exposure from the leather industry, it was the most significant metal contaminant for industry workers ranging from 21.85 to 483 mg/kg and for industry-neighboring residents at 6.01 to 296.16 mg/kg. Both the workers and neighboring residents were found to be excessively exposed (P < 0.05) to chromium compared with the investigated control group of people living in a distant village area which had no industrial establishments.Item Heptagonal Photonic Crystal Fiber Based Chemical Sensor in THZ Regim(2022 Joint 8th International Conference on Informatics, Electronics and Vision, ICIEV 2019 and 3rd International Conference on Imaging, Vision and Pattern Recognition, icIVPR 2019 with International Conference on Activity and Behavior Computing, IEEE, 2019) Hasan, Md. Ahsan; Daiyan, Golam Moktader; Ahmed, KawsarIn this article, here is developed a novel TOPAS based heptagonal photonic crystal fiber (H-PCF) for the identification of various chemical substances in the terahertz frequency territory. The full-vector finite element method (FV-FEM) is used for the numerical investigation about the competence of the proposed PCF. Simulation results show the maximum relative sensitivity as well as less connement loss for various chemicals. Numerically processed outcomes apparent that the proposed sensor shows 63.24 %, 61.05 % and 60.03 % detecting reactions for focused analytes benzene, ethanol and water individually at 1 THz frequency. Major purposes is to use H-PCF as the application of chemical sensor in commercial sector to detect harmful chemicals.Item Large Effective Area with High Power Fraction in the Core Region and Extremely Low Effective Material Loss-based Photonic Crystal Fiber ((PCF) in the Terahertz (THz) Wave Pulse for Different Types of Communication Sectors(Journal of Optics, Springer, 2021-07-04) Hasan, Md. Selim; Sen, Shuvo; Azad, Mir MohammadIn this work, an excellent design of photonic crystal fiber (PCF) with five layers of a hexagonal lattice of air holes (AHs) of cladding region as well as two elliptical air holes in the core area (CA) has been presented for terahertz (THz) wave pulse propagation. The finite element method with perfectly matched layers has been used to design our proposed fiber L-PCF to achieve the low effective material loss (L-EML) in the terahertz regime for communication applications. After the simulation procedure, our proposed low-loss PCF (L-PCF) fiber shows a low effective material loss of 0.007 cm−1, with power fraction (PF) in the core area of 80% and a large effective area of 3.46 × 10–8 m2 at 1 terahertz (THz). Moreover, other optical properties such as V-parameter, scattering loss, and confinement loss are also reported here. For different types of optical and telecommunication applications, our suggested L-PCF fiber will be highly suitable at the terahertz (THz) wave guiding.Item Logistics & Trade Finance in ZXY International: Payment Terms in Bangladesh RMG(BRAC University, 2021-05) Hasan, Md. We are working for around 100 customer all over the world and we are sourcing product from almost 200 Bangladeshi manufacturers. To handle such big logistics operation, we have total three team. Our main goal to make the goods available at customer warehouse within agreed schedule. We are involving every stage of operation. At the time of order placement, we are providing shipping cost and transit time for import raw material as well as final product reached at customer warehouse. After order placement we start importing raw material and make sure to in house raw material within planned schedule. For exporting final product, we place booking to customer nominated forwarder and follow up with customer to approval of booking. We make sure to handover the goods to forwarder within cutoff date and loaded to the carrier as per approved schedule. We track vessel until reached at destination. In case of any delay in transit we try to solve so that our customer can get the goods on time. We are responsible to collect payment from customer following agreed terms. We are working for various customer with multiple payment terms. Out of them letter of credit, TT, open account is most uses terms. We need to prepare various documents following local rules and customer requirement to get the payment. During the total process we are facing lots of difficulties and we must overcome those problem. Sometime our manufacturer failed to make the goods ready within schedule due to production issue, raw material shortage or faulty raw material. In such cases production will be delayed but to reach the final goods available at customer warehouse within agreed schedule we are finding faster transport service like Air, Sea & Air, Sea & Road so that we can meet the customer schedule.Item “My Professional Experience as an English Teacher at a Secondary School: Nalua Based Khan High School”(Daffodil International University, 2025-12-15) Hasan, Md. MahamudulThe primary goal of this internship is to describe the teaching methods and techniques of English in Secondary level of Schools in Bangladesh. This internship helps me to grow as a teacher. Before I had no knowledge about teaching in schools but this internship helps to gain the knowledge about the environment of Schools. And most importantly I have got the idea about the professional life and the struggle part of a teacher. During my internship, I have observed many classes and taught a few classes in school to get the idea of the teaching style, classroom activities, resources, participation of students, classroom management. I also observed the teachers to get the insight how teacher deal with the issues such as large classroom management, shortage of resources, manage the weak students etc. This observations helped me to utilize in my teaching and engage students such as group work, question and answer sessions etc. These way of learning helped the students make them focused and interest the topic. The report details everything I observed, experienced and learned throughout the internship.Item Sekhao: An E-Learning Platform of Virtual Classroom for Remote Education(Daffodil International University, 2019-12) Hasan, Md. MahamudulSekhao is an online educational platform with virtual classroom and many more features that helps students and teachers to collaborate online and taking classes. Teacher can provide their lecture both on video based and in live streaming while students can participate in the class with their multimedia device that is connected to internet. This project will also help teacher to take a class remotely for proper education while students can learn from a remote location with internet connection. It will overall help both student and teacher to save money and get quality content from remote location. Teacher can publish both paid and free courses in our project and schedule a live class for students. Student will join the class by paying the fee or freely in free class by enrollment and join the class. Teacher can also publish thread with class related tools and content for students. Student can attend the class from any location and ask questions to teacher via both video, audio and messages. Financial documents will also provide so teacher and publisher can see their enrollment and payout their balance. Wide range of workshop can be publishing through this project and publisher can enroll their audience to join. While our platform will serve as online host for workshop and conferences.Item Vehicle Accident Monitoring and Emergency Aid System(Daffodil International University, 2019-12) Rahman, Md. Ashiqur; Hasan, Md. MahamudulNow, one of Bangladesh's major concerns has become an alarming rise in road accidents. A lack of understanding and disregard for Traffic rules, imprudent riding, rapid development of vehicles, etc. Can be identified as factors leading to this problem. The pain of the victims of the accident can be reduced if identification of injuries is possible in no time. Emergency aid can often not be received promptly due to lack of knowledge of the incident to the individuals involved Most of the time loss of life due to poor first facilities. Our research offers a solution for identifying injuries and preventing the protection of human life. The number of women employer are increasing Day by day. Generally, their Travel by bus and women face many problems such as rape, molestation, kidnapping, etc. This unique system will lead to rising rates of crime against women. Giving women safety in urban areas in particular, as they can face problems when traveling the network is not so costly, so many women can support themselves, have been given priority. And our paper also senses when firing occurred in vehicles and sends the alert to the given number that we set such as fire service control room, police service control room, hospital service, etc.
