    A smart vat calculation software for a super shop

    An effective and user-friendly platform called "A SMART VAT CALCULATION SOFTWARE FOR A SUPER SHOP" was created to simplify Super Shop administration. The software reduces manual errors and increases operational efficiency by automating price computations, QR code scanning, and PDF invoicing using technologies like React.js [3], Node.js [4], and MongoDB [5]. It guarantees ethical retail practices and encourages environmentally friendly operations by placing a significant emphasis on data privacy, ethical considerations, and sustainability. The software benefits society by encouraging conscientious consumption and administrative contentment. Long-term viability and relevance in the constantly changing Super Shop business are ensured by its scalability and possibility for further developments, including AI-powered features and increased data analytics. Overall, the software provides a thorough and creative way to improve Super Shop administration, client experiences, and company ethics.

    AIDS-related stigma in Thailand

    Since the emergence of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, a growing body of research literature documented HIV/AIDS-related stigma and discrimination in Thailand and elsewhere. The purpose of this study was to better understand community attitudes towards persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) in the context of the decreasing rates of HIV/AIDS infection and the HIV/AIDS intervention programs in Thailand. This study applies focus group discussion method to investigate community attitudes towards the PLWHAs in a Northern Thai district. Research participants comprised both non-infected community people and HIV-positive people in the district which has a relatively high concentration of PLWHAs. The study indicates that despite remarkable positive changes in the community attitudes, stigma and discrimination were still persisting in different spheres of community life. It also indicates that PLWHAs also self-stigmatise themselves. Policy options for fighting AIDS-related stigma are discussed.

    Cisco and Mikrotik Router Setup for Office Network

    Coastal Community Valorization Through Patuakhali Science and Technology University: Policy Support and Way Forwards

    This study examined Patuakhali Science and Technology University’s impact on its neighboring rural communities. A five-point Likert-type scale survey was undertaken among university employees and community dwellers from December 2021 to June 2022. Results revealed that the university could affect its host neighborhood. Both survey groups highly agreed on improving education, eco-cultural development, and infrastructure in the host neighborhood. Female respondents perceived fewer impacts than male respondents (p < .05). People perceived fewer impacts as their age, family size, and family income increased (p < .05). Findings might help the university administration and policymakers set their strategies for developing rural coastal communities.

    We create Committee Management System Based on our software department committees. Now when one committee held an event it clashes with another committee event. So Committee Management System’ is very helpful for Software Engineering department to keep their activity record so easily. So that all committee member and leader can manage and also track other event. Student and teacher can see every activity under a committee. Other all user can create post every event. So that a committee will be more active, and every event will be success and efficient. We use analysis of field data for making this system. We find 60 percent of people are facing problems of event clash when they are member of different committee and committees hold two different event same time.Committee Management System will help member to track and find all event of different committee and when leader create an event he/she cannot select same time when another event selected this time already. This report will be very helpful for developers if the system is going for further development in future

    Comparative Analysis of Feature Selection Algorithms for Computational Personality Prediction from Social Media

    With the rapid growth of social media, users are getting involved in virtual socialism, generating a huge volume of textual and image contents. Considering the contents such as status updates/tweets and shared posts/retweets, liking other posts is reflecting the online behavior of the users. Predicting personality of a user from these digital footprints has become a computationally challenging problem. In a profile-based approach, utilizing the user-generated textual contents could be useful to reflect the personality in social media. Using huge number of features of different categories, such as traditional linguistic features (character-level, word-level, structural, and so on), psycholinguistic features (emotional affects, perceptions, social relationships, and so on) or social network features (network size, betweenness, and so on) could be useful to predict personality traits from social media. According to a widely popular personality model, namely, big-five-factor model (BFFM), the five factors are openness-to-experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. Predicting personality is redefined as predicting each of these traits separately from the extracted features. Traditionally, it takes huge number of features to get better accuracy on any prediction task although applying feature selection algorithms may improve the performance of the model. In this article, we have compared the performance of five feature selection algorithms, namely the Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC), correlation-based feature subset (CFS), information gain (IG), symmetric uncertainly (SU) evaluator, and chi-squared (CHI) method. The performance is evaluated using the classic metrics, namely, precision, recall, f-measure, and accuracy as evaluation matrices.

    Detecting Plant Diseases Using Image Recognition in Android Application

    The method suggested aims to identify plant disease and offers a solution that can be used as a disease defense mechanism. The Internet data collection is carefully separated and the various plant species classified and renamed to form a proper database, which also provides the test database consisting of various plant diseases used to verify the consistency and trust of the programme. Then we practice our classifier with training data and then we forecast the results with optimal precision. We use CNN (Convolution Neural Network) that consists of numerous predictive layers. The activation mechanism is the cornerstone of the CNN model since the non-linearity has an authentic classification artificial intelligence scheme. ReLu is one of the better functions for active input, but it has a benefit that the function derivative for negative values is zero and contributes to neuronal necrosis. New mathematical activation function to increase the device accuracy and efficiency on a TensorFlow framework is evaluated in comparison to acquired learning rate.

    The main purpose of the “Doctor Bari-Easy To Get Treatment” is making the solution people’s complexity faced in hospital. The people faced many problems in hospital when they go to emergency service or meet a doctor for our treatment. In our project we want to solve people’s complexity. In this project people can find best doctor and search from nearby his/her place. People can find the doctor by their category and they can get appointment their doctor whom they need. Then they come which time they book their appointment. For this appointment option people don’t need to go hospital for their appointment. In our project pharmacist are update their available medicine. Sometime people cannot find their medicine which are need. In our project everybody can find which medicine available in which shop. Every medicine shop needed to register by the author. People can search easily doctor or medicine. In this project doctor need to register because people can find them. Here everybody can find blood donner for themselves. Everybody can talk with doctor by online process. Pharmacist can update their medicine status. Overall people can find here everything they need in a hospital. This project is helpful for civilian. This project save time for everyone when they need to hospital service and save time for search a medicine. To build this project we use LARAVEL framework(MVC) and also use PHP, html, CSS, BOOTSTARP etc.

    Effective Electrodes Position and Features Selection for EEG Based Epilepsy Detection

    Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal is a representative signal that contains information about the brain activity, which is the key identifier and used for the detection of epilepsy since epileptic seizures are caused by a disturbance in the electrophysiological activity of the brain. The prediction of epileptic seizure from the EEG signal usually requires a detailed and experienced analysis of EEG data as well as proper collections of epileptic EEG signal from the effective positions of the scalp. In this thesis, we have introduced a statistical analysis of EEG signal with the optimized electrodes and features that are capable of recognizing epileptic seizure with a high degree of accuracy (96.1 %) and helps to provide automatic detection of epileptic seizure for different ages of epileptic persons. To accomplish the target research, we extract various epileptic features namely Approximate Entropy (ApEn), Kolmogorov–Sinai Entropy (KSE), Spectral Entropy (SE), Standard Deviation (SD), Standard Error (SE), Modified Mean Absolute Value (MMAV), Roll-off (R), and Zero Crossing (ZC) from the epileptic EEG signal. The k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) algorithm is used for the classification of epilepsy then regression analysis is used for the prediction of the epilepsy level at different ages of the patients. Using the statistical parameters and regression analysis, a prototype mathematical model is proposed which helps to find the epileptic randomness with respect to age of different subjects. The accuracy of this prototype equation depends on proper analysis of the dynamic information from the epileptic EEG signal.

    Ethical Use of Information by Library and Information Professionals of Bangladesh: a study

    The main objective of the study is to assess the status of ethical use of information of LIS professionals in Bangladesh. In accomplishing this purpose, the study advanced by generating three precise objectives and three research questions (RQs) on the basis of the literature reviewed. It also tested different test; (Kruskal Wallis test and Mann Whitney U test) to find the answers to the RQs. In conducting this study; survey, quantitative, comparative and exploratory approaches were adopted. A pre-coded questionnaire was used to collect primary data from the sample drawn from the LIS professionals of the selected public and private university, national, central public, school, college and special libraries through personal visit. The collected data were analyzed by applying frequency distribution, descriptive statistical tools while the different opinion of professionals were tested by applying Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test based on the scale of measurement. The major findings of the study were the perceptions of the LIS professionals from the selected libraries about the importance and application of copyright act, importance of IFLA code of Ethics for LIS professionals, Censorship, use of internet in libraries, photocopying service and library rules. The study has the potentiality for implementation in the practical field to introduce and/or transform the conventional and unorganized concept of copyright, censorship and different code of ethics practices for ethical use of information by professionals. The major limitations of the study are the selection of the libraries situated only in Dhaka city, excluding the library users from the population. Therefore the study suggested future research by selecting libraries from different part of the country, including the user category in the population.

    Exploring EFL Teachers' Perception on Readiness to Use Smartphones for Teaching Oral English Communication Skills at Tertiary Level

    This study aims to examine the EFL teachers’ perception of their readiness to use different smartphone applications for teaching oral skills at the tertiary level in Bangladesh and compares this to the relevant demographic factors. To reach these objectives, a mixed method research design was implemented. A survey questionnaire was answered by 46 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers from twelve different universities in Bangladesh and a semi- structured interview was conducted with five of these teachers. The results showed that these EFL teachers had a high degree of readiness to use smartphones for teaching oral skills. The teachers agreed that smartphones could help them to deal with the problems like a large class size, a lack of authentic materials, learners' inactiveness, as well as a lack of an oral practice environment inside and outside the classroom. Moreover, there was no statistically significant relationship between the EFL teachers' demographics and their readiness to use a smartphone. The results suggest that smartphone applications have certain potentials/benefits for the university teachers, and that a smartphone- based teaching method for developing EFL learners’ oral skills should be promoted in an EFL context like Bangladesh.

    Graduate Students’ Behavioral Intention of Toward Social Entrepreneurship

    In prior studies, several researchers have adopted entrepreneurial orientation (EO) in determining students’ intention toward entrepreneurship, although the application of EO is scant in determining intention toward social entrepreneurship in existing literature. Hence, in consideration of this research gap, the current study empirically examines the influence of the dimensions of social entrepreneurial orientation (SEO): social vision, social proactiveness, innovativeness, and risk-taking motive on graduate students’ entrepreneurial intention toward social entrepreneurship-based business start-up. An online-based survey method was used to collect data from a sample of 465 students purposively who were studying at different universities in Bangladesh. A PLS-based SEM was applied to analyze the data and examined the proposed relationships in the conceptual model. The findings reveal that Graduate students’ social proactiveness, innovativeness, and risk-taking motive significantly affect their social entrepreneurial intention. However, students’ social vision does not have direct influence but has indirect influence on social entrepreneurial intention through their social entrepreneurial attitudes. The research contributes to the body of knowledge in the existing social entrepreneurship literature as well as provides practical implications for the policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders working toward flourishing of social-based entrepreneurship, venture, and start-up.

We tried our best to make the complicated process as simple as possible using effective technique and menu oriented interface. We have tried to design this application in such a way that the user may not have face any difficulty to use it and further expansion is possible without much effort. The main purpose of my work is that to perform each manual working in a computerized way. It saves a lot of time. We are confident that this web application benefit a lot to the Hospital and can be used by non-programming personal easily

    Identifying Neuroticism from User Generated Content of Social Media Based on Psycholinguistic Cues

    Social media has become a huge repository of textual data and images as each of the users' are creating posts, sharing views or news, capturing the moments via photos etc. Sharing or posting statuses/tweets could be considered as a common feature among the popular social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ etc. User generated textual data such as statuses or tweets could be considered as the essential language to communicate in social media with others. This paper investigates the possibilities of identifying negative personality trait based on the psycholinguistic cues extracted from the language used in social media. Predicting personality traits based on widely accepted framework of Big Five Factor Model (BFFM) is a challenging task. According to the model, there are four positive traits namely openness to experience, conscientiousness, agreeableness and extraversion, while there is only one negative trait neuroticism. The tendency of experiencing negative emotions such as anger, sad, anxiety, depression, instability are referred as neuroticism. We have used psycholinguistic cues extracted using linguistic enquiry and word count (LIWC) for predicting neuroticism. We have applied five different classifiers to evaluate the prediction model.

    Implementation of IAAS Private Cloud using Openstack Cloud Management Platform

    In the field of cloud computing, infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is one of the most vital parts for building any types of cloud. The popularity of cloud management software is increasing day by day for smooth operation and administration of private cloud, public cloud or hybrid cloud. There are several open-source and commercial cloud management software exists in the market. Although the installation and configuration of those open source cloud management software is really difficult compare to commercial cloud management product nevertheless it gains a lot of popularity in the research and production network because of its free of cost, downloadable source code, community support etc. OpenStack is one of the most widely open-source cloud computing platforms that support all types of cloud environments. It provides an Infrastructure-as-a-Service(IaaS) solution through a variety of services. The aim of implementation of OpenStack cloud management software is to build a private cloud in a virtual environment. To create the virtual environment, we use VMware workstation for deploying the virtual machine and then we install the Ubuntu operating system to install OpenStack on top of that. Since the installation of OpenStack cloud management software t is really a challenging task that is why we try use both manual configuration as well as scripting to make easy installation. After the proper installation of OpenStack we can define different types of service, allocate different resources using web interface as well as command line interface. In this project the installation steps of OpenStack will help any organization like research institutions, government organizations, universities, cloud service providers who are interested to build their cloud in the test environment before building their real life cloud in the production network.
