In aspect-based sentiment analysis, the idea is to take sentiment analysis a step further and find out what exactly someone is talking about, and then measuring the sentiment if she or he likes or dislikes it. Sentiment analysis in Bengali language is progressing and is considered as an important research interest. Due to scarcity of resources like proper annotated dataset, corpora, lexicon such as part of speech tagger etc. aspect-based sentiment analysis hardly has been done in Bengali language. In this paper, we have conducted our experiments based on a recent work from 2018 using conventional supervised machine learning algorithms (RF, SVM, KNN) to perform one of the ABSA’s tasks - aspect category extraction. The work is done on two datasets named – Cricket and Restaurant. We then compared our results with the existing work. We used two traditional steps to clean data and found that less preprocessing leads to better F1 Score. For Cricket dataset, SVM and KNN performed better, resulting F1 score of 37% and 27%. For Restaurant dataset, RF and SVM achieved improved score of 35% and 39% respectively. Additionally, we selected two more algorithms LR and NB, LR achieved best F1 score (43%) for Restaurant dataset among all.Item Automatic Product Sorting And Packaging System(Independent University, Bangladesh, 2023-06) Sadman, Mahib; Saha, Sourav Kumar; Haque, Sabrina; Sumi, Faria Islam; Khair, Samira Binte; Nadia, Sanzida; Uddin, Mohammad Rejwan; Hasan, MahadyAutomatic product packaging refers to the process of packaging products without the need for manual human intervention. Over the years, automated packaging systems have transitioned from singular machines that automate one step in the packaging process to now integrating all steps seamlessly into the entire packaging process. This system uses various technologies such as sensors, motors, and software to perform these steps automatically, eliminating the need for manual labour. An object is transferred, sorted colour wise and then finally packed- all through an automated process.Item Isolation of pathogens from tracheal infection of intensive care unit admitted patients and analysis of antibiotic susceptibility(BRAC University, 2021-06) Haque, Sabrina; Haque, Fahim Kabir MonjurulBeing a highly vulnerable group, ICU patients are prone to be affected by infectious diseases due to various invasive, operation procedures as well as their critical health conditions. Tracheal specimens were tested to determine the prevalence, types and susceptibility of microorganism against regular antibiotic including the 4th generation drugs. Prevalence of gram-negative bacteria outnumbered (81%) other microorganism, where Acinetobacter spp. & Klebsiella spp. contributed 56% of the total organisms. Staphylococcus aureus & Candida spp. were, however, the most prevalent gram-positive bacteria and fungi respectively. Among the five most prevalent bacteria other than Staphylococcus aureus, 90% or more were found to be resistant to multiple drugs. Whereas, around 60% of Acinetobacter spp. and Pseudomonas spp. were extensively drug resistant. Imprudent use of antibiotics, inattention of caregivers, inadequate disinfection of equipments, lacking protocol has been remaining the principal cause of this scenario. However, proper training, monitoring and motivation can combat the rapid spread of infectious microbes.
