Today customers are now becoming increasingly conscious of their rights and are demanding ever more than before. This study attempted to understand the customers’ perceptions on different service quality dimensions while dealing with this bank. The broad objective of the report is to know about the customers’ perception and satisfaction of service quality of Agrani Bank Ltd. Specific objective of this report is, to know about the customers’ reliabilit y, customers’ responsiveness, customers’ assurance, customers’ empathy and customers’ tangibles on service quality of Agrani Bank limited. Then analyze the customers’ satisfaction of service quality of Agrani Bank ltd. To make recommendations for improving the quality of different services provided to the customers by Agrani Bank limited. The study was conducted based on both the primary and secondary sources of information. The nature of the research is a descriptive research. I made a detailed questionnaire for my survey. For conducting my research total sample size was 200. I took the use of descriptive statistics. Input the data into MS Excel and got the output of those data. I had use MS Excel and word to get my desired outputs. To satisfy these customers, the management can take some attempts. I have come up with some points, which can improve the efficiency as well as quality of the service. Agrani Bank ltd. need to give more emphasize on their service quality because survey shows customers are very much quality oriented in Banking than ever before. To retain their customers and make them loyal Agrani Bank ltd. should be give some exclusive offering. It can be different types of loan and lower interest for loan, increase the interest rate for deposits. By considering the those recommendations the Agrani Bank can improve their service quality and satisfied their customers with effectively and efficiency and makes them loyal customers of Agrani Bank ltd. Considering the volume of operation and limitations of resources and proper management the bank is doing better than many modern banks. If it is possible for the bank management to provide recommended services, the perception of the customers will be positive about the service quality of the Agrani BankItem DESIGN, FABRICATION AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF A SMALL DRUM TYPE POTATO GRADER(HAJEE MOHAMMAD DANESH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, DINAJPUR., 2017-12) HUDA, MD. NAZMUL; Professor Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin SarkerGrading potatoes by size is an important operation for preparing tubers for seed and for commercial purposes. Potatoes are sold in the market without grading in Bangladesh. If potatoes were sold after grading, this would be beneficial to both producers and consumers. Since mechanical graders are not available, potatoes are graded, when necessary, by hand. This is a time consuming, costly, and inefficient method. In view of this fact, the present work was undertaken to design, fabricate and evaluate the performance of a small drum type potato grader for village level operations that will provide a practical means of grading marketable potato tubers by size. The grader consists of a hopper, grading unit, prime mover and catchment tray fitted on a frame. The grader was made of locally available materials to keep the cost low. The grading unit was made up of plastic oil container, hopper and catchment tray made up of Mild Steel sheet and the frame was made up of Mild Steel angle bar. A 0.75hp, single phase electric motor was used as a prime mover with a gear box (30:1) for reducing the rpm. Machine parameters for the evaluation included the speed of the grading unit (RPM) and inclination of the grading unit. These were tested on potato tubers taking note their influence on grading system efficiency, capacity, damaged tubers and power consumption as independent variables. Data were analyzed and the results indicated that optimum set-up of the grader was at 6 RPM speed of the grading unit, inclination of 30 giving a system efficiency of 88.40%, capacity 280.90 kghr-1 , less damaged tubers of 2.22% and low power consumption of 13.95 W-hr. The cost of the grader was estimated to be Tk45,000.00 with a break-even quantity of 63 tons of tubers in one year. Further improvement, of the device could be done to reduce the percentage of damaged tubers and cost effectivity together with ease of loading and operation of the machine.Item GENETIC VARIABILITY, CORRELATION AND PATH CO-EFFICIENT ANALYSIS FOR YIELD AND YIELD CONTRIBUTING CHARACTERS OF MAIZE (Zea mays L.)(DEPARTMENT OF GENETICS AND PLANT BREEDING, SHER-E-BANGLA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, DHAKA, BANGLADESH, 2015-06) HUDA, MD. NAZMULThe experiment was conducted in the experimental area of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka during March to June, 2014 to study the genetic variability, correlation and path co-efficient analysis for yield and yield contributing characters of maize. In this experiment 25 maize genotypes were used as experimental materials. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. Mean performance, variability, correlation matrix and path analysis on different yield contributing characters and yield of maize genotypes were estimated. The highest grain yield/plant (272.21 g) was recorded in the genotype of BARI Hybrid Maize-6, whereas the lowest grain yield/plant (180.40 g) from the genotype of NZ-003. Phenotypic coefficient of variation was higher than the genotypic coefficient of variation for all the yield contributing traits. In correlation study, significant positive association was recorded for grain yield/plant of maize genotypes with plant height (0.235), tassel height (0.359), number of grains/cob (0.854), cob length (0.390), cob diameter (0.313) and weight of 1000-grains (0.689). Path analysis revealed that days to initiation of male flower had positive direct effect (0.132), days to initiation of female flower had negative direct effect (-0.254), days to maturity had positive direct effect (0.178), plant height had positive direct effect (0.314), tassel height had positive direct effect (0.234), ear length had positive direct effect (0.197), number of grains/cob had negative direct effect (-0.095), cob length had positive direct effect (0.167), cob diameter had positive direct effect (0.168) and that weight of 1000-grains had positive direct effect (0.217) on yield/plant. Clustering pattern denoted that, cluster III was the largest cluster comprising of 9 genotypes and cluster I belonged 4 genotypes of maize. Inter cluster distance was maximum (13.034) between clusters I and III, followed by clusters III and IV (10.098).Item SOLAR BASED AUTO IRRIGATION SYSTEM(Daffodil International University, 2018-12-01) MITTRA, SAJAL; HUDA, MD. NAZMULAgriculture is the source of living of majority for Bangladeshi and it also has a countless influence on economy of the country. This paper involves the development and formation of automatic irrigation using solar system that uses sensor that determines soil moisture by water level indicator also its pumping system that aims to deliver the needed water based on the assigned soil moisture value. We know that people do not pour the water on to the plants in their gardens when they go to vacation or often forget to water plants. As a result, there is a chance to get the plants damaged. The project we have undertaken is “Solar Based Auto Irrigation System”. This project is taken up as BANGLADESH is an agriculture oriented country and the rate at which water resources are depleting is a dangerous threat hence there is a need of smart and efficient way of irrigation. In this project we want to work with renewable energy, solar system. Because of about 40% of the population in Bangladesh having no access to electricity. Now a day’s solar energy is cheaper than electricity. This paper also discusses the prototype design of microcontroller based on water irrigation which detects a soil if watering is required then the water will be maintained at the constant level. If the specific area is irrigated too much with water, there are possibilities that the plant may die due to excessive irrigation. The proposed system uses a microcontroller basically a platform device called Microcontroller where soil moisture sensors are connected in its internal and external ports. It will deliver the needed water according to our verification on soil moisture.Item STUDY ON THE FOREST NURSERY OF DINAJPUR DISTRICT: PRESENT STATUS AND FUTURE IMPROVEMENT(HAJEE MOHAMMAD DANESH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, DINAJPUR., 2019-12) HUDA, MD.
