Item CLT Application in Large Primary Classrooms: An Internship Report on Teaching Practices in Bangladesh.(Daffodil International University, 2025-12-12) Das, Anik ChandraThis report investigates English language teaching at 108 No. Changao Govt. Primary School. It focuses on the problems of using CLT method that is suggested by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). The report is based on three-month internship including class observation, teachers interviews and class conduction with the students of class 2, class 3 and class 4. The findings of report expose the gap between policy, training and classroom practices. Teachers mostly depend on the traditional Grammar Translation method (GTM) because of large classroom and inadequate training. Nevertheless, student evaluations showed well in listening skills with 30% full marks 5 out of 5 when interactive methods like Total Physical Response (TPR) were used in the classroom. Although speaking, writing and reading remained weak because of lacking practice. The report highlights the required to include four skills listening, speaking, writing and reading into examination system and interactive activates are important to ensure English language at the primary level student.Item Studies on the Effect of Bio-Polishing on the Physical Characteristics of Knit Fabric(Daffodil International University, 2024-03-30) Das, Anik Chandra; Chowdhury, Md. Al-fahidThis study examines how the bio-polishing process affects the physical characteristics of textile fibers. Bio-finishing, an eco-friendly fabric treatment that improves fabric properties, is becoming a growing trend. The study examines enhancements in weight loss, WPI and CPI, reflectance value, and strength test before and after the bio-polishing process. Bio-finishing is a promising method that uses enzymes to cure fabrics. De-fuzzing fabric through enzymatic activity to eliminate protruding filaments. Bio-polishing can improve the quality of cotton and various natural and manmade materials. The bio-polishing process provides benefits like the removal of hairiness, fluffs, and pills, as well as improvements in handling, shine, and sewability. The thesis is titled“Studies on the Effect of Bio-Polishing on the Physical Characteristics of Knit Fabric”. We choose four distinct types of knit fabric samples: single jersey, viscose, cvc, and interlock. We tried to determine the disparity in fabric characteristics before and after conducting bio-polishing. This study provides useful insights into textile engineering and sustainable practices by analyzing physical characteristics before and after bio-polishing in controlled tests.
