Item A Review on VANET Research(Daffodil International University, 2022-06-24) Mahi, MD. Julkar Nayeen; Chaki, Sudipto; Ahmed, Shamim; Biswas, Milon; Kaiser, M. Shamim; Islam, Mohammad Shahidul; Sookhak, Mehdi; Barros, Alistair; Whaiduzzaman, MDRecent technology has modeled VANET (vehicular adhoc network) communication well in terms of privileges to derive vehicular communication technologically to save time, energy, and money. Due to the increase in powerful technology in modern times, VANETs play a vital role in uplifting daily concerns across vehicles and vehicular identities. Hence, to tune VANETs to become compatible with traditional technologies and increase demand, VANETs require upgrading. The severity and frequency of unwanted occurrences have become a considerable concern for our day-to-day lives relating to vehicular position. Thus, verily updated methodologies or working procedures are needed for the future VANET interplay to eradicate such problems occurring through vehicular identities. This article outlines in technology related to VANETS, future developments, and coping issues by deriving comprehensive frameworks, workflow patterns, upgrading procedures including big data, fog computing, SDN (software defined networking), and SIoT (social Internet of Things). This article provides a high-level overview of a complete VANET upgrade solution to address future problem management issues under a range of acceptable scientific themes, indicators, and combinations.Item A Survey on Predicting Player’s Performance and Team Recommendation in Game of Cricket Using Machine Learning(Springer, 2022-05-20) Biswas, Milon; Akhund, Tajim Md. Niamat Ullah; Mahbub, Md. Kawsher; Islam, Sikder Md. Saiful; Sorna, Sadia; Kaiser, M. ShamimMachine learning in sports analytics is a hot field in computer science. Using machine learning algorithms, we can predict the outcome of a game or performance of teams or individual players and building new strategies for upcoming competitions. Cricket is one of the foremost popular games in the world. Choosing the right player is one of the most challenging work for all kinds of sport and no exception in cricket. In the field of machine learning, several algorithms are used for prediction and classifications. Machine learning algorithms like linear regression, support vector machine, random forest, and naive Bayes with linear and polynomial kernel showed good results to predict the runs scored by a batsman and runs given by a bowler. In this work, we explored the techniques that have been applied to solve the challenges in cricket.Item BIOT(2021 Fifth World Conference on Smart Trends in Systems Security and Sustainability (WorldS4), IEEE, 2021-08-19) Biswas, Milon; Akhund, Tajim Md. Niamat Ullah; Ferdous, Most. Jannatul; Kar, Susmita; Anis, Adeeba; Shanto, Sadah AnjumDespite what the media can have us to think, block chain has a broad range of applications outside of crypto currencies. From health resources to regulation, real estate, and finance, innovation is poised to transform a wide variety of industries. In any case, agriculture is a little-studied industry that block chain might completely transform. Our general public is supported by this massive sector, which does not be as appealing as banking or medical facilities. More importantly, it has a slew of issues that need to be addressed right away. With the use of information technologies, we expect the agricultural sector can become more secure, transparent, trustworthy, and constructive. The proposed model combines AI, IoT, and Block chain to develop a smart and futuristic agricultural system that provides farmers with a secure and open transaction approach to rich, new, and effective decision support that can specifically create the scope of greater agricultural process productivity and help farmers maximize their benefits. And we believe that the agricultural sector will benefit from the benefits of information technology.Item DRLAS: Digital Record Keeping in Land Administration System Relying on Blockchain(Springer, 2021-09-10) Biswas, Milon; Akhund, Tajim Md. Niamat Ullah; Kaiser, M. ShamimOn every developed or developing world, the Land Administration System (LAS) is a salient infrastructure. Both the digital (traditional database system) and the manual methods are applied in the LAS (paper-based documentations). Both of these systems provide an authority with monopoly power that can increase unethical conduct in land administration. Again, while the Blockchain technology was initially used to maintain a financial ledger, it is possible to expand the use of this technology to incorporate any decentralized computing structures, including the automated record keeping and management framework. Recent studies have found that the new and largely untested applications of Blockchain technology in land administration remain. In this work, the implementation of a blockchain-based system is proposed to build a System for Land Administration. In the Ethereum blockchain platform, the proposed framework was simulated and showed that the framework contributed to developing a stable, secure, effective and efficient system of land administration.Item IOT Security Perspectives and Probable Solution(2021 Fifth World Conference on Smart Trends in Systems Security and Sustainability (WorldS4), IEEE, 2021-08-19) Newaz, Nishat Tasnim; Haque, Mohammad Rafiqul; Akhund, Tajim Md. Niamat Ullah; Khatun, Tania; Biswas, Milon; Yousuf, Mohammad AbuNowadays the Internet of Things (IoT) is a buzzword. In numerous fields, we are using it. So, the security and privacy of the Internet of Things are very important for today’s mankind. In this paper, we have analyzed many Internet of Things systems. We found various vulnerabilities and security faults in some systems. We found various previous works and models to solve the security issues. But those are not enough. This paper has an aim to establish a new model that may be applied to IoT systems to acquire more security. Finally, we have proposed a model for secure IoT systems. We have analyzed that model from various perspectives and found that it may be a solution to the security threats for IoT.
