GPS detects the sudden change in the axes of the vehicle and GSM module send the alert message on your Mobile Phone with the location of the accident. The advancing technology has made our day-to-day lives easier. Since every coin has two sides similarly technology has its benefits as well as its disadvantages. The rise in technology has increased the rate of road accidents which causes huge loss of life. The poor emergency facilities available in our country just add to this problem. Mosta GausulOver the past few decades, Bangladesh's economy has grown in an astonishing manner. It's important to remember, nevertheless, that embracing new technologies will help us meet our challenges and remain competitive in the global market. In the upcoming years, maintaining and expanding economic growth will depend on continued attempts to adapt new technologies. If we concentrate on the projected budget for the past few decades, it is evident that the budget for development is rising daily. When various digital technologies were used in the project implementation process, it had a favorable effect on how quickly projects were completed. However, the expenditure from the development budget is still on the lower side. Therefore, a strong emphasis on efficient project implementation tools and qualified staff is required for project execution. The Ministry of Social Welfare's Department of Social Services (DSS) is a leader in using digital platforms and resources. It uses a digital platform as an implementation tool and has great success implementing its programmes, particularly Social SafetyNet. Similar to this, DSS has been trying to include digitization in every initiative it runs. They use d-nothi, ibas++, e- GP, AMS, MIS and NISE. In managing & monitoring project they rely on ibas++, PMIS, ams software & e-GP. I tried to get in touch with a few of our project directors who are currently on the charge of projects in order to produce this report. I tried to learn about DSS’s ICT practises from them in order to carry out the projects. They discussed the current situation at an expert level. They all agreed that using ICT tools in project management is essential for the effective use of development budgets. The effective use of the tools that reduce effort across the whole project cycle is therefore the most crucial component of using ICT tools in project management. In summary, it can be claimed that in order to apply this ICT tools in project management suitable plans and policies, IT-capable workforce, culture and an open attitude are required.Item Design Construction and Performance Test of a Short Length Subsonic Wind Tunnel(Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh., 2012-09) Arifuzzaman, Md.; Mashud, Prof. Dr. MohammadWind engineering is a field that has been evolving over centuries. Wind engineering is based on using measurements of actual wind flows to predict the forces transferred to engineering structures and machines. A large portion of wind engineering today depends directly or indirectly on wind tunnels. Wind tunnel is a device, by artificially producing airflow relative to a stationary body that measures aerodynamic force and pressure distribution to simulate with actual conditions. Wind Tunnels offer a rapid, economical, and accurate means for aerodynamic research. The most important aspect of wind tunnels is their ability to accurate recreate the full complexity of full fluid flow. Aerodynamicists use wind tunnels to test models of proposed aircraft since the flow conditions can be carefully controlled in the tunnel which affect the forces on the aircraft. In the current project a short length subsonic wind tunnel is designed, constructed and its performance is tested. A 20 kW motor with 10 blades of diameter 1.20 m is used a fan to facilitate the air flow. The cross section of the wind tunnel is of square type with dimension 0.90 m × 0.90 m and the length of the section is 1.35 in. The overall length of the tunnel is about 7.35 m which can be erected in a laboratory room. After testing the performance of the tunnel it is found that the maximum wind velocity inside the wind tunnel is 26.62 m/s and the velocity profile along the height and width of the test section is almost linear in nature excluding the 11.11% allowance in four sides. The constructed wind tunnel has conformed to the design and can be used for different test in the field of aerodynamics.Item Design of a 28GHZ Single and 2×1 Array Antenna for 5G Communication(Daffodil International University, 23-03-12) Arifuzzaman, Md.The design and modeling of two patch antennas working at 28 GHz for use in 5G communication networks are presented in this article. First, we design a single patch antenna for mobile devices, and best results after we design a 2x1 array patch antenna arrangement for base stations. The CST software was used to build and test both antennas. The patch antenna is 3.29 x 3.26 mm2 in dimension and has a gain of 6.56 dBi. Because of the rectangle patch and partial ground plane used in its construction, it is smaller overall and has a better radiation pattern. Good impedance matching is demonstrated by the simulation's findings, which reveal a return loss of -28.79 dB at 28 GHz. To create a directional radiation pattern, a microstrip passed into the patches and linked in phase. At 28 GHz, with a 1.5 GHz bandwidth, the modeling results indicate a gain of 5.61 dBi and a return loss29.11 dB.11dB. Overall, the patch antennas that have been developed work well enough to be used at 28 GHz in 5G communication devices. The single patch antenna is ideal for use in mobile phones due to its small size and high gain, whereas the 2x1 patch antenna array offers a broader frequency and higher gain for use in base stations.Item EFFECT OF SOME INDIGENOUS PLANT EXTRACTS AGAINST LESSER GRAIN BORER, RHYZOPERTHA DOMINICA (COLEOPTERA : BOSTRICHIDAE)(HAJEE MOHAMMAD DANESH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, DINAJPUR., 2013-12) Arifuzzaman, Md.; Dr. Roushan AraThe study was carried out in the laboratory of the Department of Entomology, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur during the period from April to December 2012 to evaluate the efficacy of different plant extract viz. Ata (Annona reticulata), Karabi (Nerium oleander), Neem (Azadirachta indica), Biskatali (Polygonum hydropiper) and Akanda (Calotropis gigantea) in petroleum ether for the toxicity, residual and repellent effects against lesser grain borer, Rhyzopertha dominica. The leaf extracts of above mentioned plants were applied at three doses viz. 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0% concentration. The result showed that extracts of five tested plants had toxic and repellent effects on lesser grain borer. Neem leaf extract showed the highest toxicity and repellent efficacy on lesser grain borer. Even though all the doses had toxicity, residual and repellency effects but the highest efficacy showed at 8% concentration ( 8% dose showed the highest response). On the basis of the LD50 values, it was observed that the neem extract showed the highest performance. Considering all the concentrations, the order of toxicity levels of five plant extracts on lesser grain borer was found as neem> biskatali> karabi> akanda > ata. Mortality percentages were directly proportional to the time after treatment. In case of repellency, it was found that all the tested extracts were in the same repellency class i.e. class II. First, thermal boundary layer equations have been derived from the Navier-Stokes equation and concentration equation by boundary layer technique. Second, some non-dimensional variable has been introduced to make these equations dimensionless. Then Finite difference method is used to solve these equations. The solution of heat and mass transfer flow is studied examining the velocity, temperature and concentration distribution. The effects on the velocity profiles, temperature profiles and concentration profiles for various parameters have been separately discussed and shown graphically.Item Investigation of silver doping on structural, optical and electrical properties of spray deposited tungsten trioxide thin films(Department of Physics, BUET, 2021-09-11) Arifuzzaman, Md.; Podder, Dr. JibanThe spray pyrolysis technique is used to synthesize un-doped tungsten trioxide (WO3) and silver (Ag) doped WO3 thin films onto the glass substrate at 450 C. The surface morphology and the structural, optical and electrical properties of Ag doped as-prepared WO3 thin films with doping concentrations of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 at.% have been investigated by the Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), UV-Visible spectroscopy (UV-vis) and four-point probe resistivity measurement. The FESEM investigations of un-doped and Ag doped WO3 films have shown grain formation with the crack surface. The XRD pattern of un-doped and Ag doped WO3 thin films has confirmed the monoclinic structure. The observed results have shown that the thin films with high crystallinity and Ag substitution effect lead to an increase of crystallite size. Higher Ag concentration has shown a different nature. The optical properties have been studied in the wavelength range of 300-1000 nm. The calculated band gap for un-doped WO3 is found at 3.20 eV and 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.% Ag doped WO3 thin films are 3.15, 3.07, 2.95, 2.90 and 3.02 eV, respectively. The electrical properties have shown that the resistivity of WO3 decreased with increasing doping concentrations of Ag and gradually decreased with the increase of temperature. All the samples of thin films are reflected the semiconducting nature. The activation energy is calculated with higher and lower temperature regions. An overall analysis has indicated that Ag doped WO3 thin films are potential candidates for optoelectronic device applications.Item IoT Based Person Fall Detection From Wheelchair and Showing Body Temperature(Daffodil International University, 2020-11-27) Chowdhury, Atquia Farah; Arifuzzaman, Md.; Hasan, Md. As a result, adopting automatic fall detection systems can improve the quality of life of older persons or patients. This study shows a fall detection system as well as the temperature of the patients. Three key components make up the system: a wearable device, a cell phone, and a temperature sensor. The wearable device may communicate with a cell phone via GPS. When the wearable device senses a fall, it sends a notification to the phone as an alert. When a fall occurs, all data, including the wheelchair's location, is relayed to the Blynk mobile application. The IoT system will send an email to the registered individual to notify them that a fall event has occurred and that assistance is required. Furthermore, this method is less expensive to build and delivers a quick response. It can be installed in any commercial wheelchair. However, this technology has a drawback in that it requires a strong Wi-Fi connection. This application has been developed by a content management system using HTML, CSS, Java script, Bootstrap4 and written in Laravel (CodeIgniter Framework MVC Pattern) and MYSQL Database.Item MANAGEMENT OF ALTERNARIA LEAF BLIGHT OF RADISH SEED CROP BY SELECTED FUNGICIDIES(HAJEE MOHAMMOD DANESH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, DINAJPUR, 2007-06) Arifuzzaman, Md.; Md. Mamunur RashidIn the field experiment with the radish (cultivar Rocki), seed plants were sprayed with Rovral 50 W. P. (50 % iprodione) @ 0.2%, Dithane M-45 (80% mancozeb) @ 0.3% and Shincar 50 W. P. (50% carbendazim) @ 0.1% to control the Alternaria leaf blight of radish. Two sprays of each fungicide were done at 7-days interval starting from 24 days after transplanting of 40 days old stickling. Among the fungicides sprayed, Rovral was the most effective in controlling the disease and significantly reduced the leaf area infection (76%), number of spot per leaf (76.81%) and number of infected leaf per plant (62.97%) over the control followed by Dithane M-45 and Shincar. The fungicide Rovral 50 W. P. also increased the seed yield (48.42%), yield per plant (59.55%) and 1000 seed weight (23.50%) over control.Item Performance Analysis of Correlated Ricean Fading MIMO Channel Using Jakes Correlation Model(IEEE, 2021-09-08) Sultana, Rezwana; Hossain, Tamim; Arifuzzaman, Md.; M. SarkerA masked communication context is contemplated over multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) fading channels, in which a transmitter contacts with a group of receivers with the existence of multiple eavesdroppers. The antenna correlation is generally influenced by the antenna spacing and the angular spreading of the arriving radio waves. We have found the explicit mathematical interpretation for the ergodic secrecy multicast capacity over Ricean fading MIMO channels with uniformly distributed linear antenna array employing the elegant Jakes correlation model. Then, we explore the performance of Ricean fading channel showing the consequences of fading, antenna correlation and spacing among the antenna elements. Our outcomes show that antenna correlations appreciably reduces the ergodic secrecy multicast capacity of Ricean fading MIMO channels.
