    Development of Templates for Dictionary Entries of Bangla Roots and Primary Suffixes for Universal Networking Language

    The Universal Networking Language (UNL) is a world wide generalizes form of human interactive language in a machine independent digital platform for defining, recapitulating, amending, storing and dissipating knowledge or information among people of different affiliations. The theoretical and applied research associated with this interdisciplinary endeavor facilitates in a number of practical applications in most domains of human activities such as creating globalization trends of markets or geopolitical interdependence among nations. In our research work we have tried to develop Templates for Dictionary Entries of Bangla Roots, Krit Prottoy (primary suffix) and Kria Bivokti (verbal inflexion) which will help to create a doorway for converting the Bangla Sentence to UNL and vice versa and subside the barrier between Bangla to other languages.     Framework for Synthesis of Universal Networking Language

    This paper presents the specification of Universal Networking Language (UNL), a project undertaken under the auspices of the United Nation University (UNU) in Tokyo and for a framework for integration of Bangla language to UNL. The mission of the UNU project is to allow people across nations to access information on the internet in their own languages-a step bridge the digital divide. The core of the project is UNL, a language independent specification for serving as a common medium for documents in different languages. Researchers involved in this project from different countries have been developing UNL systems for their respective native language. The process basically involve i) building native language to UNL dictionary and ii) deriving language specific syntactic rules called analysis rules for parasing/translating native language corpora to UNL and vice versa. In this paper we present parallel work for developing a framework for synthesizing Bangla to UNL that involves building a bangla to UNL dictionary and parsing sentences to UNL. To the best of our knowledge, this is a pioneering work in Bangla.

    Generation of Bangla Text from Universal Networking Language Expression

    This paper presents a work on generating Bangla sentences from an interlingua representation called Universal Networking Language (UNL). UNL represents knowledge in the form of semantic network like hyper-graphs which contains disambiguated words, binary semantic relations, and speech act like attributes associated with the words, assisted by the semantically rich lexicon and a set of analysis and generation rules. We have developed a set of generation rules for converting UNL expression to Bangla sentences.     UNL Based Bangla Natural Text Conversion - Predicate Preserving Parser Approach

    Universal Networking Language (UNL) is a declarative formal language that is used to represent semantic data extracted from natural language texts. This paper presents a novel approach to converting Bangla natural language text into UNL using a method known as Predicate Preserving Parser (PPP) technique. PPP performs morphological, syntactic and semantic, and lexical analysis of text synchronously. This analysis produces a semantic-net like structure represented using UNL. We demonstrate how Bangla texts are analyzed following the PPP technique to produce UNL documents which can then be translated into any other suitable natural language facilitating the opportunity to develop a universal language translation method via UNL.
