    Analysis of recruitment and selection process of Best Holdings Limited

    Recruitment and selection can play a pivotally crucial role in shaping an organization‟s effectiveness and performance. That is why an organization needs to properly plan about their recruitment and choice strategies and BHL is very conscious about it. The recruitment and choice process begins from the marketing and then ends with the selecting or hiring personnel. Recruitment and selection is a continuous system in BHL that takes places spherical the year. At some stage in this report I‟ve executed some statistical analysis based on the recruitment and selection process of BHL and the author‟s assigned project „analysis of Recruitment and choice process in BHL‟. In a while a few pointers has been made so that it will be helpful for the enterprise in destiny. With the help of the some hypothetical numbers in the recruitment database I did some statistical analysis of the recruitment process to make the whole scenario extra seen and understandable. Amongst all the functions, marketing has highest range of selected employees throughout this period of time. A recruiting yield pyramid has been developed which implies that to hire 10 candidates the enterprise will must generate as a minimum 325 leads. An evaluation has been shown at the most reliable supply of capacity applicants for BHL. Subsequently, a statistic showed that during most of the instances BHL HR has successfully provided desired candidates in extraordinary vacant positions. The incident ascertains that BHL HR is spark off and efficient in their recruitment and selection process.

    Cancer Classification Utilizing Voting Classifier With Ensemble Feature Selection Method and Transcriptomic Data

    Biomarker-based cancer identification and classification tools are widely used in bioinformatics and machine learning fields. However, the high dimensionality of microarray gene expression data poses a challenge for identifying important genes in cancer diagnosis. Many feature selection algorithms optimize cancer diagnosis by selecting optimal features. This article proposes an ensemble rank-based feature selection method (EFSM) and an ensemble weighted average voting classifier (VT) to overcome this challenge. The EFSM uses a ranking method that aggregates features from individual selection methods to efficiently discover the most relevant and useful features. The VT combines support vector machine, k-nearest neighbor, and decision tree algorithms to create an ensemble model. The proposed method was tested on three benchmark datasets and compared to existing built-in ensemble models. The results show that our model achieved higher accuracy, with 100% for leukaemia, 94.74% for colon cancer, and 94.34% for the 11-tumor dataset. This study concludes by identifying a subset of the most important cancer-causing genes and demonstrating their significance compared to the original data. The proposed approach surpasses existing strategies in accuracy and stability, significantly impacting the development of ML-based gene analysis. It detects vital genes with higher precision and stability than other existing methods.

    Marketing of Financial Products and Comparative Advantage of Southeast Bank Limited's Deposit schemes

    Southeast Bank Limited is a scheduled commercial bank in the private sector, which is focused on the established and emerging markets of Bangladesh. It was incorporated as a public limited company on March 12, 1995 and started commercial banking operation on May 25. 1995. SBL offers a full range of banking service and has twenty three branches throughout Bangladesh. The banks operations in Bangladesh are in the areas of business banking, retail banking, and ATM card service division. The bank offers a number of retail products in the form of loan/saving scheme as well as various types of trade financing facilities to its customer service and variety of products. At the same time, major weaknesses include lack of interdepartmental communication and storage facilities and centralized decision making prohibiting bottom-up communication. An industry analysis has been carried out to scan the macro environment which affects southeast bank limited’s operation in Bangladesh. A set of recommendations have been generated for further development and expansion of Southeast Bank Limited’s operation in Bangladesh. SBL performed well in marketing well in marketing its financial products. Southeast bank Limited is the first bank in the country to use VSAT at all its branches across the country. And thereby introduced the new product of “Real Time On-line Any branch Banking service” for cash withdrawals, deposits, electronic fund transfer, balance enquiry, accounts statements etc. By customers Southeast Bank Limited also launched a new product Islamic banking from selected branches of the bank at Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar and Chhagalnaiyh. SBL has also achieved tremendous success in deposit collection with in a short period of time. The growth rate in deposit is 31.42% compared to last year. This growth rate might be termed as remarkable achievement considering the volatile economic scenario of the country during the later part of 2002. Finally, a set of recommendations has been provided for overcoming the delinquency problem of SBL product marketing and deposit collection.

    Response surface design: optimization of a sustained release formulation of ketorolac tromethamine

    The main objective of this present study is to formulate sustained release tablets of Ketorolac Tromethamine using a 32 full factorial design and to systemically optimize the drug release profile using a design expert software. Ketorolac Tromethamine is a potent NSAID drug that is used to treat moderate to severe pain, including pain after any surgery, acute musculoskeletal pain as well as pain associated with post uterine cramping. Ketorolac Tromethamine has a short biological half-life of 4-6 hours and frequent administration of the drug can cause GI problems. It is thus considered a suitable drug for doing formulation development to reduce the frequent administration of drug and also to reduce adverse effects of GI, thus making it more patient compliant and giving a constant therapeutic effect. In total, nine formulations of sustained release Ketorolac Tromethamine were prepared using different concentrations of the rate retarding polymer - Methocel K100M CR and Methocel K4M CR by direct compression. Each of the excipients were selected by performing compatibility study using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). In vitro dissolution study was performed for all the formulations to obtain the drug release profile of sustained release tablets of Ketorolac Tromethamine and the dissolution profile were fitted into the different kinetic models for analysis. Among all the kinetic models, most of the formulated matrix tablets followed first order drug release kinetics which indicated that the drug release follows anomalous (non-Fickian) mechanism. It was found, from the responses produced by the software, that the polymer combination used in the formulation of sustained release matrix tables at different ratios has control on the drug release. From the nine (F1-F9) formulations, F5 was finally selected as optimum formulation.
